Shirley Jean Nuse, age 86 of Honey Brook, died on Monday, July 13, 2026 at her home, while under the care of hospice and her loving family.
Born on Saturday, September 2, 1939, Shirley was the daughter of the late Leroy and Mary (Steiff) Ebersole. She was the wife of the late Robert L. Nuse, Sr. who died on February 15, 2019.
Shirley worked in the fabrication department of the Viwinco Window and Door Company of Morgantown. She attended the Kingdom Hall of New Holland. Shirley enjoyed counted cross stitching, crafting and all kinds of animals.
She was preceded in death by a three brothers, Leroy Ebersole, Bob Ebersole and John Wilber Bartsch, a sister, Faye Fronheiser, and a great granddaughter, Brynnlee Nuse.
Surviving are two sons, Robert L. Nuse, Jr. of Philadelphia and Eric J. and his wife Sherry Nuse of Narvon and a daughter, Diane J. Gordy of Honey Brook. There are five grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
The funeral service will be held on Friday, July 17, 2026, at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa. Interment will follow at the Pine Grove Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 10 AM to 11 AM at the funeral home.
