My father was a man of many roles, each one cherished and embraced as he journeyed through life. As he set some aside, he took on new ones with pride and dedication. Many knew him at different stages of his life. Some as a drag racer, others as a skilled mechanic, or even as a fisherman. He was a master tool and die maker, a scout, a scout master, a devoted brother, a beloved son, and a true friend. These titles only begin to scratch the surface of who he was and how deeply he impacted those around him. No matter what role he played, he consistently strived for excellence, often embodying the phrase “fake it till you make it” as he navigated life's challenges. His unwavering spirit and determination were inspirational to all who knew him. T he world feels a bit darker without his infectious smile and joyful laughter. My family and I will deeply miss him, especially his grandson, Nate, who proudly gave him his favorite title: PeePaw. He may have left this earthly realm, but his spirit and legacy will forever live on in our memories.Just because I can’t hear your voice or see your smile doesn’t mean I won’t feel your love or stop loving you.
