George A. Walton, Jr.

George A. Walton, Jr., 78 years old of Coatesville, PA, died suddenly on Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at his home.

He was born in Coatesville, PA on Thursday, September 19, 1946. George was the son of the late George A. Walton, Sr. and Mary (Stringer) Walton. He was the husband of Chong S. (Kim) Walton, with whom he shared 50+ years of marriage.

George was a US Army Veteran, during the Vietnam War. He retired as a mechanic for the former Lukens Steel Company. George enjoyed landscaping his home and spending time with his beloved family.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by two sons, Dr. George A. Walton, III and Robert “Rob” (Barbara) Walton, a brother, John (Karen) Walton and a sister, Patricia (David) Hemingway. There are two grandchildren, Ben and Grace Walton.

A private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
