Dorothy “Dot” Griffin, 84 yrs. of Honey Brook passed away on Sunday, May 4, 2025, at the Zerbe Sister Nursing Center, following an illness.
She was born on Friday, July 19, 1940 in Downingtown, Pa. Dorothy was the daughter of the late LaVern and Frances (Reber) Simmers. She was the wife of the late James Griffin, who died on July 27, 2008.
Dorothy was a homemaker to her beloved family and a custodian for Downingtown school district.
She was preceded in death by a son, James M. Griffin Jr, sister Betty Mento and twin sister Dolores Simmers.
Surviving are her three sons, Kevin Griffin of East Earl, James Griffin of Honey Brook and William Griffin of Douglasville, 9 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren.
A private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
