Robert H. Lawson

Robert H. Lawson, 81, of Morgantown, passed away in his home surrounded by his loving family on Tuesday, March 18th, 2025. Born in Philadelphia, Robert was a son of the late James and Wilhemina (Hasson) Lawson and the loving husband to Theresa (Montanaro) Lawson.

Robert was known for being a “Jack of all trades” which helped him in his career of overall building maintenance at the North Philly Health Systems Hospital, St. Joe’s Campus, for over 10 years, making sure that the building and all its accessories were running smoothly and properly until his retirement. His skills in welding and mechanics were utilized in more than just his job, but also in his love of building and flying radio-controlled airplanes, and model trains. He was a longtime member of the Crosswinds Radio Controlled Aviation Club in New Jersey. His skills and talents contributed to his work and hobbies, but also helping other friends and family. His crafty heart will be deeply missed by his family and friends.

Along with his wife, Robert is survived by two sons, Timothy Lawson and Daniel Lawson of Morgantown, formerly Philadelphia; two grandsons, Ryan & Christian Lawson; and sister, Barbara Troxel. Robert is predeceased by two brothers and a sister.

Services will be private to the family.
