Cheri L. Leisey, 77 years, of Honey Brook, passed away on Thursday, January 2, 2025 at the Reading Hospital, following an illness.

Cheri was born on Thursday, January 9, 1947 in Tiverton, England. She was the daughter of the late Harold E. and Elaine (Schlater) Guldin. Cheri was the wife of the late Thomas M. “Tom” Leisey, who died on January 27, 2021.

Cheri was employed in the medical records department at Hickory House Nursing Home. She was a member of the Honey Brook United Methodist Church.

Cheri was an amazingly loving mother who was always willing to help or be involved in her kids activities, whether it be a Den Mother for Cub Scouts or a Girl Scout leader. There was always a creative activity, craft, community service project or camping trip being planned to make everyone happy. Cheri loved her grandkids and fur grandbabies and was always willing to give a snuggle or help when needed. She was a very talented artist/crafter often attending or organizing craft shows to sell her creations or simply giving gifts to see smiles on all that she loved.

Cheri was preceded in death by a brother, Hal Guldin.

She is survived by two sons, Shawn T. (Jessica) Leisey of Honey Brook and Darrin T. Leisey of Downingtown, a daughter, Suzanne L. (Matthew) Majeski of Honey Brook and a brother, Lance Guldin. There are eight grandchildren, Alexa, Courtney, Brody, Cooper, Blayze, Callen, Ember and Addie and three great grandchildren Eliana, Ava and Cameron.

A private service and interment will be held at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church Cemetery at the convenience of the family.

Arrangements by The Labs Funeral Home, Inc. of Honey Brook, Pa.
