Robert William “Sam” Shank, Jr., 72 yrs., of Honey Brook passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, December 28, 2024, at his home.

He was born on Friday, October 10, 1952 in Coatesville. Sam was the sone of the late Robert William Shank, Sr. and Mildred (Tait) Goodwin of Honey Brook. He was the husband of Eileen M. (George) Shank, with whom he shared 52 years of marriage.

Sam was a retired machine operator for Conestoga Wood Specialty. He enjoyed collecting coins and using his computer.

Surviving in addition to his wife and mother, are a son, Robert William Shank, III of Sylva, NC, two daughters, Eileen Whitfield of Naron and April Shank of Narvon, a brother, John Shank of Blue Ball and a sister, Mini Asquith of Reinholds. There are eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

A private service and interment will be held at the convenience of the family.
