I will never forget you Stuart. Thanks to the late Jim Murtha for bringing you to Country Connection band practice when we were kids in Honeybrook, Pa. Someday we’ll jam again.

I remember when the late Jim Murtha was my drummer in a band from Honeybrook, Pa. He had asked if he could bring a friend to play with us for a rehearsal. That friend was Stuart. We all three clicked and we had a blast. The Country Connection was the band we played in. I talked with him on his mom’s phone and we talked about getting together again to pick. But…. Then I received the word of his passing. It just made me so sad. I will never forget those days of jamming nor will I ever forget Stuart and Jim Murtha. RIP

I am so sorry to learn of Stuart's passing. He was a couple years younger than me in school but being from Honey Brook everybody knew everybody. He was such a talented guy, his paintings were phenomenonal. I told him once I wished I had just a tiny bit of his talent in painting. He laughed and said it wasn't that hard, it just came naturally to him. He was the sweetest guy and could always make me laugh. My heart breaks for his family. Heaven gained a Angel. Whenever I see a rainbow or colors streaking across the sky I will think of him. Rest in peace Stuart.

I made Stu's acquaintance during a short period in the late 80s when a few of my friends played in his Band. I remember him as super charismatic and talented. Rest in Peace and my thoughts and prayers to his family.

I really appreciate Rene letting me know about this. I am so so sorry to hear this. I had Stuart from Kindergarten through 6th grade and then I was given classes in the high school and, once again, I was happy to have Stuart in my art classes. Stuart was so talented, but above that even was his loveable personality. I think he was still in high school when his parents got a new car and I needed a way to New Hampshire and his parents let him drive me there. Al and Paige and their five children were surely some of the nicest people to be known.

I had the pleasure of traveling and playing many shows with Stu in the late 80's with his band Tux. He was quite the performer and artist....always had a knack for writing a simple catchy hook. Many fond memories. Rest easy my old friend... my condolences to your family. Kerry Renninger

So sad to hear of the news of Stuart's passing. I had the pleasure of coaching him in soccer, what a fine and likeable guy. My sympathy to his family, parents, and my classmate Sherry. I am sure one of the brightest stars at night will be him smiling down on us all. May the memories give you comfort and know that we are all better people for having such a joy in our lives, no matter for how long. God bless.

Stuart had a huge impact on my life. Right out of high school I joined his band, Tux. And in my few short years with Stuart, I watched him touch many people's lives (young and old alike) with with his upbeat personality and catchy music. He was a wildly popular guy that people just gravitated towards. He was an excellent artist and song writer, and I don't recall having more fun with anybody else. My condolences to his family. He will be missed.

Stu was a fantastic guy. Poison would have been out of luck moving to California if it wasn't for Stu. Our old ambulance van broke down in Needles, CA and Stu towed us the rest of the way! Stu stayed with us for the better part of a year in our first apartment and helped us. Rock life wasn't for Stu and returned home and began his normal life. On behalf of Poison, we are forever grateful.
