I first met Ruth Ann in 1959. In the 56 years that I knew her, Ruth Ann lived her life in the way that God intended us all to strive to do...serving God, serving others and praising God no matter what her circumstances were in life. She was always a joyful person and an encourager. Although I will miss her presence, my grief is lessened by knowing that she will live forever... pain free and with the God whom she loved so much. My condolences go to her three sons, Kenny, Dale and Dean and to the rest of her family. May you be comforted by knowing how much she loved all of you.

Although Ruth Ann and I graduated from West Chester High School together in 1958, I was unaware until last year that we are related, sharing the same 3rd great grandparents who emigrated from England in the early 1820's. I am so happy that we were able to exchange emails about our kinship before she died. My favorite memory of Ruth Ann is of her dressed in her band uniform with her hat cocked back on her head and a big smile on her face. My deepest sympathies go to her sons and family.
