Had the pleasure of visiting Bill a few months before his passing. When I came to his room, he recognized me right away after 45 years. So we sat and chatted about our ham radio days and talked about some of the parties we had back in the 60's. Our trip to NYC on New Years Eve too. Sandy, I met you once. I remember you sang a song, "This Rig Was Made for Talking" Somewhere I might have a copy of it on tape. Bill touched so many on ham radio, with entertaining discussions we all enjoyed. 73, Bill

Very sorry to hear of his passing. I never met Bill, but listened to him and his ham buddies on 75 meter am around 1970 on my shortwave radio. On the radio Bill sounded real interesting and I had hoped one day to meet him and tell him that he was one of the reason that I became a ham. Rest in Peace Bill.

As Bills sister, I will miss the laughter we would share talking on the phone since I moved to Florida. I always felt Bill was way ahead of his time coming up with ideas that were cutting edge. I still cannot believe you have passed on Bill. To Bob Spaziani.. would love to catch up too and say hi.

So sorry to hear of his passing. We became friends in the late 50's and lost touch until a few years ago. I am sorry I never got to go and see him as I promised. Would like to get intouch with his sister and say hi

Uncle Bill was a dear friend to myself and my late husband Dave. He sparked Dave's interest in ham radio and they had many great times on the radio. They were indeed kindred brothers and now are reunited. I recently visited him at the home before I moved from Pa and we shared our awesome times we had, we laughed together and cried together and now I am so happy we had that time together. I loved Bill like a brother and he will be missed. My life was blessed after meeting Bill and sharing our lives. Rest in Peace! Love you forever and always!
