Anita P. Kay, 67 years of Coatesville, died on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at the Paoli Hospital.

Anita was born in West Chester on Sunday, February 17, 1957. She was the daughter of the late Milton and Patricia (Ahearn) Hiddleson. Anita was the wife of Thomas L. Kay, with whom she shared 44 years of marriage.

She worked as a package scanner for UPS in West Chester. Anita enjoyed gardening at her home. She attended the East Brandywine Baptist Church.

Anita was preceded in death by her brother, Andy Hiddleson.

She is survived by her two daughters, Melissa and her husband Aaron McKim of Parkesburg and Lindsey Kay of Royersford and a sister, Judy. There are 6 grandchildren and one great grandson.

A funeral service will be held on Thursday, May 2, 2024 at 11 AM from The Labs Funeral Home, Inc., 141 Pequea Ave., Honey Brook, Pa., with Pastor Brian Fuller officiating. Interment will follow at the Hopewell United Methodist Cemetery. A calling hour will be held from 6 to 8 PM on Wednesday and one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in the memory of Anita to the East Brandywine Baptist Church, 999 Horseshoe Pike, Downingtown, Pa. 19335-1335.
